Help Us

Although organising the events in Deal and Walmer is not a huge task, we are a very small team and need two types of help in coordinating it:

Planning

This involves liaising with venues who are participating in the event, it takes place between March and August and involves a few emails or phone calls. We have occasional meetings to coordinate our activities but these are brief and informal. An organised approach to this role is important but no other skills are required.

Event Stewards

On the weekends of the event we require a few stewards to welcome visitors and mange any queues. We ask you to commit to half a day on the role and in return you get a privileged view of the event. An interest in history is important but you do not need any historical knowledge, the most important skill is in welcoming people.
