Heritage Open Days is England’s biggest heritage festival. It celebrates our fantastic history, architecture and culture; offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences.
All venues are free to explore during the times shown in the programme thanks to the efforts of volunteers who open them.
The 2020 event will take place on the weekends of 12/13 and 19/20 September, the programme of events will be shown here when they are available.
Details of all Heritage Open Day events across the country are at www.heritageopendays.org.uk.
