Heritage Open Days is England’s biggest heritage festival. It celebrates our fantastic history, architecture and culture; offering people the chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences.
All venues are free to explore during the times shown in the programme thanks to the efforts of volunteers who open them.
In 2019 the events in Deal and Walmer will be on the weekends of the 14/15 and 21/22 September, details will be available here nearer the time.
Deal and Walmer Heritage Open Days are organised by the Addelam History Research Group and The Deal Society in conjunction with Deal Town Council and Walmer Parish Council.
The event is organise by a very small team and we really need some more help in coordinating it. If you would like to find out more, please contact us.
